Lovely florals on a coffee table! This one’s originally from This Is Glamorous, one of my blog faves!

{Brandy Melville Dress, Vintage top, Topshop boots}

The snow is still going strong here in Montreal! I finally had a warmer day though, and thought it would be perfect to get in a mini outfit photo shoot. I had so much fun paring this outfit together. Whilst it is all black (my go to colour, as you’ll eventually notice), the low back on this dress was perfect to wear with my black lace top.

My new favourite pieces are turtlenecks, or semi-turtle necks I should say! I wore this top as an underlay (like this) with another black dress for my concert last week, and received so many compliments about it! Don’t you just love that feeling when something so simple looks so good, and it probably won’t make a difference to others, but to you it just feels, well, awesome! Well, that’s how I feel, haha.

Today’s feature is on Rachel-Marie from New York City. I have been obsessing over her style since I discovered her on LookBook a while ago. Her indie, vintage-chic outfits all fit so perfectly together, and she has yet to prove me wrong. Plus, I adore the fact that she lives in New York City, and her blog is full of all the finest things the city has to offer her. One of my favourite things about her posts are actually the locations she chooses for her photo shoots. The city streets and beautiful New York sidewalks go so well with her outfits! I chose some of my favourite looks, but  you can check out her own fashion blog here for more.

Friday Favorites

I’m not really sure what to call this time of year. Well, besides january of course. What I mean is that it’s kind of warm right now, and it just doesn’t feel like winter. But on the other hand it doesn’t feel like spring yet either… Today’s post is dedicated to my favourite kind of style; the style you find on the streets. I haven’t really posted any street style in a while, so it’s time for a little roundup. Just some great looks that I would be wearing right now.

Playlist: A New Year

january 2014 playlist

Happy 2014! What a better way to celebrate the new year than with my first love, music. I discovered so many new artists over the Christmas break, and couldn’t wait to show them all to you! I’ve been obsessing over the band Rhodes, who just recently released an EP on iTunes. They remind me so much of Daughter! I would almost consider them to be the son version! Just kidding! Anyways, enjoy the playlist! xx
