Sadly, tonight was the series finale of CBS’s How I Met Your Mother. Since 2005, creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas have enlightened me with the cray lives of Ted, Robin, Marshall, Lily and Robin in what is considered my favorite show of all time. These Manhattanites and their epic friendship has become a huge part of my life, and I’m sad to say it’s all over now. I still remember the slutty pumpkin and slapsgiving as if they were yesterday. And what about Robin Sparkles and her hit “Let’s go to the Mall”? That song was played vigorously on my ipod for a good three years. Of course, we can’t forget Barney’s Bro Code, and my favorite… Dopplegangers. I don’t think you realize how many times that word had been integrated into my conversations! It’s a part of my vocabulary!! I can’t believe it’s all over now. To be honest, I loved the ending. I won’t give it away, because I know for a fact that a few of my readers have been watching the series on Netflix! Although I’m sad it’s done, and I don’t think it could ever be replaced, it was a satisfying ending that I appreciate! Let’s just say, the entire plot line came full circle; literally!
